Our team participated in Volunteer Day at Te Raekaihau reserve, contributing to native tree planting, weeding, and track maintenance as part of our "Day for You, Day for Us" programme. We are proud to support Te Ohu o Te Raekaihau’s mission to restore the indigenous connections of this significant land for future generations.
Putting down the digital tools to pick up gardening tools.
Last month the team headed out to Ngā Hau E Whā O Paparārangi marae to lend a helping hand to their gardens. Based in Newlands, the marae has incredible views over the Wellington harbour with a few lawns, vege garden, and perimeter planting. We chucked on our gardening gloves and got stuck into some planting, harvesting flax, and weeding.

It’s with mixed emotions that we announce and celebrate the retirement of one of our founding directors, Ron Pynenburg. His career designing brilliant architecture has challenged the status quo, and after 40 years he’s stepping back from full-time involvement.
Our team's talents stretch far beyond architecture and design. We're also painters, photographers, digital artists, renderers, crafters, builders and so much more. Our “Day For Us” initiative, created three years ago, gives everybody an opportunity to pursue one of their passions or explore something new.
Pynenburg & Collins takes great pride in recognising the success and professional development of our hardworking team. We are delighted to announce the recent promotions and changes to our senior management team with Mark Holmes and Melissa Edwards becoming Principals and Lien Bui becoming an Associate.
It’s with great pleasure that we announce Mark Holmes and Melissa Edwards have been appointed as Principals. Over the years Mark and Melissa have both contributed to and led a number of key projects, displaying strong collaborative and leadership skills. The work they have produced during this time has been of the highest standard, and we’re regularly surprised and delighted by what they are able to develop alongside our clients.
We take great pride in announcing the appointment of our newest associate, Lien Bui. In 2020 Lien joined the Pynenburg & Collins team as a Senior Designer and in her short time with us has helped create and develop the positive working environment we all enjoy.
Wellington’s iconic Round the Bays was held last Sunday, 21 February. A bunch of the Pynenburg & Collins team took part in the MAS 6.5km fun walk/run and what fun we had!
